Acting Vice President and Volunteer Consultant

At present, Mr.Roach is Consultant to, Partner in the ownership and part of the Executive Leadership team of WellMed Medical Management headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. WellMed provides medical service to over 500,000 patients in Texas & Florida. He has a broad background in providing tax consulting services related to all facets of the real estate industry with a strong focus on partnership matters. Additionally, he has significant experience and expertise in both entity and transactional structuring including partnership, limited liability companies, real estate investment trusts and corporate issues.
Mr.Roach’s professional career experience also includes positions as a bank executive and director, a tax partner of a small local Indiana accounting firm and president of Condominium Associations. He has also served on the Board of Directors of numerous community service and charitable organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University – with a double major in accounting and business management, is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Indiana (currently on inactive status) and a 40 year member of the AICPA.
Graduated from Plainfield High School, Plainfield, Indiana in 1972, was named a “Hoosier Scholar” for academics, and ranked in the upper 20% of my graduating class. I played Varsity Basketball and Tennis and was named All-Conference in both sports. I was the Number 1 seed in tennis. I received numerous individual & team athletic awards.
Upon graduation from college – IUPUI (Indiana University – Purdue University at Indianapolis), and completion of intercollegiate athletics career (basketball & tennis), he received an award as the first 4-year letterman in the school’s history that was named in my honor for Loyalty, Dedication, Integrity and Leadership – The “C.J. Roach Award”. Mr. Roach was inducted as a Charter Member in the IUPUI Athletics Hall Of Fame in 1994 and was named to the IUPUI all decade team of the 1970’s. He was also inducted for a 2nd time in the Athletic Hall of Fame with the 1972/73 men’s basketball team and received the Indiana University Alumni “President’s Award” in 2000 for commitment to the betterment of IUPUI and the community through leadership, support and service. In 2017, Mr. Roach received the Indiana University Foundation “Spirit of Philanthropy” award for Service & Contributions that helped advance the missions of IU & IUPUI.
